Story Behind the Art - This piece is truly a reflection of fine motor growth. He made this after an OT session where we worked on transferring items from the palm to the fingertips. This was especially challenging because NASH doesn't love trying new things and usually taps out pretty early when doing them for the first time. However when we introduced the lite-brite for this session he stuck with it. He even chose to continue the task after therapy, placing each piece so specifically! It truly lit up our faces!
